ShoreTeam didn't start with accounting. We started by solving a different problem: U.S. companies in the print & promotional products industry were struggling with the same challenges growing businesses face today, back-office operations that were too expensive, too slow, and too difficult to staff locally.
Armando Pizzuti, ShoreTeam's co-founder, spent 30+ years leading high-volume service businesses before building a Jamaica-based outsourcing operation that served U.S. marketing companies at scale. That operation is still running today.
When we launched ShoreTeam's accounting division, we weren't starting from zero. We were expanding a working model into a new vertical.
What We Built in the Marketing Industry
A fully staffed, Jamaica-based team handling back-office operations, order processing, customer support, data entry, reporting, and vendor coordination, for U.S. print & promotional products companies.
The infrastructure we built to make that work. HR systems, compliance frameworks, local management, vetting processes, is the same infrastructure powering ShoreTeam's accounting operation today.

We didn't launch ShoreTeam's accounting division and hope the model would work. We'd already proven it in a completely different industry over nearly a decade of operations. The infrastructure, the hiring process, the management systems, the quality controls: all of it was already running when we made the move into accounting.
